I'm working on setting up a PC for a friend. Everything seemed okay until I tried connecting via Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The connection attempt shows "Windows did not detect any networking hardware." At first, I thought the Windows update was the issue, but after clearing everything and re-downloading Windows it still didn't work. I also mentioned BIOS might be the problem, though the BIOS date is February 2, 2022. Here are the specs: MSI Z690 Pro Wi-Fi-A, DDR4 Intel i5 2400, 3200MHz, 1TB SSD, Samsung Evo Plus, and a 970GX 3060. Any details you can provide would help.

Visit your motherboard's site to find networking driver downloads. Save and install them via USB or similar method, then the system should function properly.

Visit the official MSI support page for the Z690 A WIFI DDR4 motherboard. There, you can find the chipset and LAN driver downloads that should resolve your issue.

I attempted that but didn’t go far enough in detail. I’ll try again—I believed the OS would help, so I upgraded to Windows 11 and it still didn’t resolve the issue. The problem seems linked to the yellow indicators. Could there be an issue with the board? I’m unsure if the picture loaded, but it shows “other devices” base system device ethernet controller, PCI device, SM bus controller, etc., all displaying a yellow warning sign.

They mentioned it. You need to install the drivers. The yellow warning probably indicates that Windows doesn’t have the necessary drivers, so you should visit the motherboard website and download them from there.
