Setting up my first gaming PC, the part picker mentioned needing a USB 2.0 to USB 3.2 Gen 1 adapter and another for USB 3.2 Gen 1 to Gen 2. Do you know what that means? I own a Lian Li Lancool 205 ATX Mid Tower case and an MSI PRO-H610M-G motherboard.
Uses USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors on the front panel. If the motherboard lacks a USB 3 connector, it can't link to those headers. Front USB ports will still function, though others may not. The PCPartPicker suggestion might be incorrect—check your motherboard for the correct port.
