Hello, I just purchased all the parts for a new PC, but it won’t power on. Should I update the BIOS before any signs of life appear? Right now only the "smart" and "clear CMOS" lights are working. MB is: MSI MPG X670E CARBON WIFI Processor is 7800x3d. I’ve tried booting it with and without the graphics card, replaced the RAM, checked all connections, and even tried bridging the power switch in case the case was the problem.

Yes, I can update the BIOS. It may be risky if you don't follow the instructions precisely, but everything should work fine.
