I've allocated everything to choose the CPU.

Grab Corsair Vengeance LPS RAM, a reliable SSD (Samsung is a good choice), a decent case (any will do), and a power supply. You don’t need to skimp on the PSU or SSD since they greatly influence your PC’s longevity. For the GPU, keep costs low—right now prices are high, but they might drop later this year. If you’re planning the 5600X, opt for a budget model like GT710 and pair it with an integrated GPU.

I’ll give it a shot, but I’m a bit unsure whether to choose a SATA drive or an NVMe one.

It's unclear which type you need based on your situation. Consider what you're using it for and choose accordingly.

According to @RandomTextbook, consider the tier lists below for alternatives to Samsung and Corsair. I rely on them for component comparisons. A to B tiers work well. PSU lists are also important. GPUs have become quite pricey these days; I recently chose a Xeon with an integrated GPU just to get the system running. It really depends on your needs. Micro ATX suits everyday use if you don’t plan major upgrades, while ATX offers more upgrade potential due to its larger size and additional PCIe and RAM slots.

I understand the GPUs are costly, but I prefer not to lower CPU specs for IGPU.

Choose an affordable GPU such as 1030 or 710. Used units work well since you can resell them if needed, provided the system remains functional. I updated my message to match your motherboard specifications.

I believe I should reduce my CPU from Zen 3 to 2.

Consider the latest hardware options available, ensuring you have a budget GPU to maintain performance for upcoming needs. The 5600X is solid, but a more recent GPU would be ideal for sustained use.
