You can transfer Windows 10 from your 1TB hard drive to your 120GB SSD without deleting files, by using a recovery tool or partition manager. This way, you won’t need to wipe the old OS.

Turn off the HDD during installation of Windows and reconnect it afterward. This issue has been asked many times before. It seems most people don’t search for this.
