so i began working on deep learning projects during my free time with a friend.
i have a budget of 10,000$ (i really enjoy this kind of work and want to support local businesses).
i live in india, where the prices are quite reasonable—4090 costs around 2300$, while the best deals for 7900xtx were about 1200$.
my machine is a single 4090 with over 80 tflops using fp16, which is significantly better than fp32 on nvidia.
the 7900xtx offers more than 123 fp16 thanks to its 2:1 fp32 performance and costs half as much.
i haven’t seen anyone using an amd consumer card cluster except possibly george hotz’s “tinybox,” which sells 6 of these for 15,000$.
though 4090 workstations are available online, i’m new to this and would appreciate any advice or guidance.

Are you thinking about purchasing some PI4 or PI5 boards for a test setup? You might be able to solve these challenges with more affordable equipment.
