I configured my PC and checked the BIOS, but it still won’t power on. I’m using a Ryzen 7 X3800 with an ASUS Corsair 6 Hero motherboard—it doesn’t work. I tried running the BIOS with and without the CPU, but nothing changed. The issue seems to be persistent. The startup screen stays red even after plugging everything in.

This refers to the Crosshair VI Hero being an X370 motherboard that needs a BIOS update—likely to version 6808 or higher—for third-generation support. It’s recommended to ensure the system is updated and possibly flashed to a compatible version around 7201.

What version are you using? This motherboard has worked with an older Ryzen CPU before. If the BIOS update didn’t install properly, you can use the BIOS Flashback feature with another BIOS version and retry. Have you tested other BIOS updates?

I updated it by refining the language and structure while preserving the original meaning.

You should definitely explore various formats, including older ones, before upgrading to the latest releases. This approach avoids forcing the installation of the newest version alone.

After completion, the blue light should stop. Should I simply unplug it or leave it on and power it up?

I don't understand the precise actions of BIOS flashback, but it's okay to keep it that way.
