A good racing game is one that offers engaging gameplay, smooth performance, and satisfying challenges. It should provide a balance of speed, strategy, and immersion to keep players interested.
I don't really remember the racing games I played before, but I remember Need for Speed Underground 1 and 2, and NFS Carbon. I enjoy custom settings and a free-roam mode where I can test my cars and explore.
It’s actually quite average. The vehicles and personalization along with the map are decent, but the narrative is pretty flat. The voice acting falls short and the dialogue feels too rehearsed. There’s very little flexibility, especially missing dynamic chase scenes.
Some of the top NFS games are really great. I think Underground 2 is the best, followed by one of the earlier titles, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit. Carbon was decent too, but New NFS isn't doing well anymore... I've been avoiding them for a while now.
Even without playing it, the gameplay seems quite solid. However, I won't buy it due to the way the rest of the game is managed. It might be worth getting when it drops around £15-20.
