I changed the router into a repeater earlier, but haven’t used it much because it’s slow and I don’t have a long cable. I pulled it back out to try again, hoping to adjust some settings. I entered 192.168.1.1, which is the usual IP for Linksys devices, but it doesn’t load. Can someone assist me in getting into the settings?

192.168.1.1 is no longer functioning because it’s not the router anymore. Check your router’s DHCP server list to get its IP address. Since the Linksys doesn’t handle DHCP, it isn’t the default gateway—this changes in larger networks—and it now gets its IP from another router.
