Stalker Deep Rock Galactic Jedi Outcast & Jedi Academy concept, not an FPS. Enjoy story mode boxes. Related titles include Call of Juarez, Gunslinger Deus Ex, Bulletstorm, Painkiller, Shadow Warrior, Dishonored.

These titles are often discussed in third-person perspectives, yet they remain solid choices in my view: Control Dead Space, Doom Eternal, and Control Dead Space 1-3.

You might enjoy Crysis 3, as it suits your preferences. Hmm... Let me consider alternatives... I’m familiar with the Crysis and Far Cry franchises, though they’re mainly about survival. I don’t usually play first-person shooters, but this one is a horror survival experience and includes a single weapon. It’s Alien Isolation. Besides, Assassin Creed 3 could be an option—though it’s third person and still features guns.

I played the first crisis and didn’t enjoy it much. Is the third one very different? I liked Far Cry 3 a lot—it was a solid game. Perhaps I’ll look at the sequels. I tried a full let’s play and found it okay. I’m not really into survival horror games. I enjoyed most Assassin’s Creed titles until Assassin’s Creed 3, which is interesting since many prefer later entries. Brotherhood was my top pick. Thanks for your advice!

Oh, I mean, this is quite old, but maybe you can give it a shot? It's Command and Conquer Renegade. It's an FPS game set in CnC world.

Well, in what expect of the game you hate? I haven't played the first one so I'm not so sure how they differ. So far there are about 5 or 6 stages, lots of guns to use, with mods like extended magazine, you are killing human and aliens, there's stealth ability and hardened ability (which use your energy) and you can upgrade your suit. There are no money or shop, so all weapons has to be obtain in the battlefield. They added a weapon, bow and arrows. Arrows can be reuse, as long as you can grab it after you shoot it.

It seems the experience wasn't exciting. I barely engaged beyond the initial two battles. I'll check some reviews to see what others thought. I'm not sure if it was well-received.

Wasn't aware Splinter Cell and Warframe were first person. Can try Shadow Warrior. There's the real old 90's one, then 2 reboots from a few years ago, and the third is coming out soon, if not already. Otherwise, I don't know. I main racing games and Halo I guess. I only have a handful of FPS games, most of which you've already played. I will however second the Yakuza recommendation. Y0 was great, YK1 was pretty rough, but I think that's mostly just because it's a remake of a PS2 game. It's also like a third the length of Y0. I'm playing through Kiwami 2 and it's pretty good. The most interesting thing is from the get go the series has been a brawler game, but the fighting is consistently the fucking worst. Especially YK1, frankly I won't be replaying it any time soon, but it's a very linear series so it's worth at least 1 playthrough.
