I purchased a white IMac from Virginia Tech, but it reaches the white No OS screen. After installing Lubuntu, nothing appeared, and even a CD didn’t work. I’d like to keep this machine for testing purposes. If anyone has advice, it would be really helpful. Each time I power it on, it rattles, and I’m unsure how to disassemble it properly.

Verified if the device had a hard drive; macOS often requires extra setup for installing Lubuntu.

It runs without an operating system, and the other two are bundled with Lubuntu. Do you remember how to launch them? I notice a movement each time it starts up.

It also doesn't interact with a CD or thumb drives.
