Hello everyone, I'm considering purchasing an i7 from this Taobao link: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a23...=15#detail. I'm unsure which model to select since the options only list package A, Two, Three, etc., as shown in the attached image. My motherboard is H81M-D R2.0. Could anyone recommend a suitable CPU or help me choose? I'm on a very limited budget, so I rely on Taobao for CPUs. I was thinking about the i7 4980HQ but don't know if it fits my board. Thank you for your time.

Checking the details, that appears to be a laptop CPU. Is it compatible with your desktop motherboard? You can view the supported CPU options here: https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H81MD_...pDesk_CPU/

Sure thing! So, would you too? Honestly, I haven’t seen the video and I’m not planning to, unless it’s necessary.

I'm referring to the 4980HQ, just like other flagships, they don't offer great value, so consider lower-end models such as the 4870HQ and 4720HQ. Based on user feedback, you should also update the BIOS of the board with the appropriate microcodes, and it's important to know how to do that yourself.
