I'm preparing to assemble a 5000 series rig once the professors are released. Today is a great day, and I secured two of these RAM sets for £93 (32GB). I'm unsure if they support quad channel, as some sources say yes while others don't specify clearly. I don’t have a motherboard yet and will need to locate one that fits. The RAM was purchased for its affordability, but I can cancel the order if necessary. This is my first post—please let me know if I made any mistakes so I can correct them. Thank you!

AMD motherboard supports quad channel, but only fill all four slots. Ryzen processors work best in dual channel mode, allowing up to two sticks per channel.

Your inquiry about the compatibility of your RAM sets is important. I’ll check if using them in dual-channel mode works as expected or if you should consider an alternative. Your preference for a bulk purchase of 4 x 8 GB units was well considered, as it offers significant savings.

Most likely they will work just fine. However there is a small chance you may not get them to work at 3600MHz, but a bit slower, like 3400Mhz.

I think the upcoming 5000 series will remain dual channel only. Quad channel is suspected for the forthcoming AM5 connector (6000 series?) using DDR5. Nonetheless, certain models may support four DIMMs, though it would still function as dual channel. Always refer to the RAM compatibility chart to determine which modules fit and supported configurations.

Phew... this cost... once the main issue is resolved, I can only suggest purchasing your kit from crucial. You'll be amazed!

they should work well together because the memory chips are identical, though the CPU's memory controller might not handle them at peak performance (it depends on the chips being matched).

Amazon sellers charge a high price for these items. The same 3600 CL16 kit is available for £69.59 directly from Crucial. If you buy it on Amazon, you'd need to add about £10 more to reach the 32 GB version.
