Need assistance with your RAM problem? Let me help you troubleshoot!
Hey everyone, here’s what I’ve been experiencing lately. My computer has been acting up recently—especially when I play games like CS2 or browse the internet. It keeps crashing and shows a blue screen every time. When it does, I see a stop code labeled (SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION). Google suggested it might be a RAM problem. I ran a Windows memory diagnostic too, which also flagged it as hardware-related.
After replacing the RAM with new sticks from Best Buy, the issue persisted. I tried different speeds in BIOS—like 3600MHz, 3200, 3000, and even 2933—but nothing improved things. Eventually, I switched back to auto and got a speed of 2133MHz.
I double-checked in Task Manager and System Information that all 32GB of RAM was recognized correctly. I ran another memory diagnostic afterward, and it showed no errors. When I removed the new RAM and reinserted them, the results stayed the same.
I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on. If you have any tips or know what might be causing this, it would really help. Thanks in advance!
The latest RAM model is Vengeance LPDDR4 32GB at 3600MHz, while the previous one was Patriot DDR4 32GB at 3200MHz.
