I’m looking at a need for 32 GB of RAM. I found Corsair DDR5 6400 on sale but usually see 150 units, while Corsair DDR5 7000 is typically 118. I’m puzzled—higher capacity seems better, yet prices are lower. For 1440p gaming, which option would be best? Please clarify!

Do you just rely on the system for gaming? For Intel, you can reach up to 7000Mhz, but the increase from 6400Mhz or even 6000Mhz isn't substantial.

I don’t mind the cost difference, but if the performance isn’t a big factor, I’ll go for the 6400.

I don't suggest the 14900k for casual gaming. It runs much slower than AMD's options, needs four to ten times more power, and demands a costly cooling system.

Results won't be the focus. Target speed is 6400Mhz, that's acceptable.

I can purchase it for 245 dollars since my friend at Intel is available, which makes the price seem reasonable.
