God help me i'm losing me fooking mind. Actually wait this is a printer, God himself probably couldn't figure it out. Hello there, I need some help with the accursed portal to the digital realm that is the printer. Context: Printer is a WIRED LaserJet from HP I have been told there is a way to sort of make it wireless by plugging it into a router that supports sharing the printer (Print server) I just got hold of a new router that came when i switched ISPs that i think supports this functionality. the router that I'm trying to connect my printer to is the Huawei HG8145V5 or Revision/Version 5 of the HG8145 model. this^ is the settings panel for the USB port. The first 2 seem to be about storage devices which i don't need. the 3rd one, UPnP, seems to be what im looking for. As you can see^ i have already enabled it and the printer is currently plugged in to the USB port but whenever i try to run a test print nothing happens. Furthermore, i cant seem to find my printer inseide "Devices & Printers" (oh wait, omfg im so dumb, of course it wont print anything). soooo what do i do now?

Do you mean you wanted to connect the printer using the router's IP address?

The issue you're facing is unclear. Could you provide more details about the error message and your situation?
