Hello, I accessed my computer this morning and everything functioned properly. Three hours later I returned and noticed no Wi-Fi signal. This is the third occurrence this has happened. I reinstalled Windows, relocated my Wi-Fi card to a different PCIe slot, and tried a new Wi-Fi card. Now the new card isn’t showing up in Device Manager—only the USB one appears, which only connects to my phone’s hotspot, not the actual Wi-Fi network. The PCIe Wi-Fi card doesn’t have any lights illuminated, suggesting it isn’t receiving power. If anyone has advice or assistance, please let me know.

It seems the old Wi-Fi card might have a hardware problem. You could attempt installing it on another PC if possible. Also, check if the new/USB Wi-Fi card supports different frequency bands. I noticed this with my mom’s setup—her newer phone used 5 GHz, while the older one broadcasted on 2.4 GHz. Changing to 2.4 GHz resolved the issue.

Your Wi-Fi operates on 2.4GHz and your card is set to 2.4GHz. Both devices performed well yesterday and this morning, no adjustments have been made.

The device detects the Wi-Fi card yet it doesn't display any available networks.

Verify the hardware connections first—unplug the device and let it sit for 30 seconds to two minutes. For the software part, open CMD.exe and run specific commands like netsh ip reset, netsh winsock reset, ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /release, and ipconfig /renew. If these don’t resolve the issue, reset the device via Settings WIN+I and search for options such as "reset network."

Thanks for your support, everyone. It looks like the card isn't working properly. I placed a new one, and it's functioning correctly. Appreciate your assistance!
