My SSD is fine and appears in BIOS, but not in the Windows setup. For Linux Mint it will be temporary until I fix it, but I really need your assistance here—it’s my last resort. Are you setting this up through a USB drive? Checking if you connect it to the motherboard resolved my problem a while back. Maybe a helpful tip from a Redditor on the web > IllusionX 7 years ago could work too. If you're using a USB stick, when you hit that error, shut everything down until you reach the install window, then unplug the stick and try another port. Install normally afterward.
Start with the BIOS, restore it to the original settings, then configure the USB as the main boot device. Use Rufus to create a bootable USB and enable older BIOS partitions—this could assist. Ensure you're using a reliable USB drive. As a final step, consider installing another OS if your current one appears damaged.
