Hello, my name is Pat. I bought an HP Omen laptop from Amazon and it's been causing issues since then. I've spent around 2k on it, so I'm not ready to give up. It shuts down after running GTAV for about an hour, which makes me think it's trying to save itself. I took it to a repair shop that said it was fixed, but it keeps doing that. I feel like I wasted a lot of money and don't know what to do next. I'm just looking for some advice and would really appreciate it. Thanks for considering my case.

Identify the specific Omen Laptop model you're using, including any details about its components. Confirm whether you're testing it on a clean surface or in a more personal setting like your lap or pillow. Check if the fans are increasing in speed and noise level. If you suspect overheating, verify temperature readings or if dust has accumulated around the fans and heatsinks. If within warranty, reach out to HP support for assistance.
