Need assistance with your new PC?
Hello everyone, just wanted to share my experience. I recently purchased a custom cyber power rig with an Intel Core U7 265G, 4070 Super, and 32GB DDR5 RAM. After trying to stream, I noticed the system only shows 16GB of RAM. Even after reseating and swapping the stick, it remained disconnected from the rest of the setup. I suspect the single stick might be faulty. However, once I resumed streaming, I encountered NVIDIA error messages indicating the GPU was overloaded and performing poorly. Compared to my old 6700K with 16GB RAM and 1080p, I feel this setup is underperforming. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You're aware of the faulty stick, but it remains in the slot. Could this be leading to instability? I thought the lack of a populated status in the BIOS didn’t matter. Thanks!
I’d simply return to the store and highlight both the memory issue and the GPU error messages. I’m hoping they resolve everything. If they don’t, you might need to replace the memory, and if the GPU problems persist, try DDU to reinstall drivers. Also verify that all power cables are firmly connected.
Sure, try it out briefly and let me know. Also check @okkee's ideas. Don't forget to use quote for a reply.
I contacted them last night, eager to receive a response. I’ve verified all the cables and was just curious if there were any details I overlooked. Thank you!
