I’m located roughly a mile beyond a quiet village (just over 600 residents) and was trying to find the best internet choice for me—preferably not relying on satellite. I checked out 4G LTE hotspots, but they all seemed to have very limited data limits. I was hoping for something with a data cap around 500GB or more.

Do you want a cable delivered to your home? Have you checked with your neighbors about their internet setup? What information did the nearby ISPs provide?

the only other ISP operating this connection is Craw Kan, though we ended up with them because of repeated payment issues, leading us to switch to Viasat.

This is essentially a rural lifestyle.

That seems like your strongest choice. Check for any nearby signals, though that specific provider is likely the most reliable. Wireless options usually perform worse than wired connections, and setting up your own cable won’t be inexpensive.
