I'm searching for a motherboard with DDR3 support that can run an Intel i5 370k LGA1155 chipset. My previous MSI model had problems because when it restarts it forces me to cut power and replace the CMOS battery, which makes the system use only VGA instead of HDMI. This prevents the GPU from working properly since VGA is always the main video output. I’m willing to spend money to fix this but am trying to keep RAM and CPU unchanged for now because it’s affordable. Updated August 5, 2020 by DarthDivider

Refers to an i5 3570k setup. From my experience, I used a 1GB Z77X drive, six USB 3.0 ports at the back, eight SATA connections, three PCIe Gen 3 slots, and more. The board performed exceptionally well with my overclocked i5 3550 at 4.1GHz and 1866MHz RAM—handling it like a pro if you're into overclocking. I’m not familiar with other boards, but you can check online. Most available options are likely second-hand.
