Are you requiring the X570? Even if so, there are many motherboards available at a significantly lower price than the Dark Hero. You don’t have to purchase a top-tier board for the 5800X.

You can also boost performance on a B550. The main change is that the CPU lanes support PCIe 4.0 while the chipset lanes stick to PCIe 3.0, and the X570 offers full PCIe 4.0 compatibility. Even with the B550, you still get one PCIe 4.0 M.2 port, so the X570 is only necessary if you require additional slots.
