Hello, your observation seems accurate. It appears certain motherboards may not attempt to power up without a functioning CPU. Your Asus Prime B450M-A seems to be handling that well—just showing no signs of life, but everything else like fans and RAM works fine. The new board is still in its packaging, so it might just need time to activate. You also tried jump-starting the system, which helped.

The brain is essential for any operation, just like a CPU is for a computer. Without a processor, it can't function.

Thanks, it means something! I watched videos on YouTube without the CPU and noticed the fans spinning. My issue might be different. I’ll keep waiting until I get a CPU.
