I plan to play games like Apex, Fortnite, and BF 2. I’ll work with Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and similar tools. For my system, I might need extra RAM that fits well with my AMD CPU.

3900k It's better at anything with high threads. Special ram? Not really, but if you're worried pick something off the motherboard QVL list, otherwise just find a kit of DDR4-3600 with CAS 16 and you'll be set, can just turn on XMP and be done.

others claim AMD isn't reliable and often face numerous issues, though this might have changed over time.

Generally, these systems face more problems with BIOS, RAM compatibility, and extended startup times compared to Intel models. While this holds in many cases, it can be resolved and shouldn’t overshadow their clear benefits. Let’s get ready for the fanboy reaction!

It's often talked about, but it's not something I'm an expert in. I'm not a pro, so I don't need constant fixes. Just want to play and work, lol. Thinking about getting 64 GB. Any ideas?
