Producer: HP "Hewlett-Packard" Model: TCP-1019-DM based on my grandfather's advice, he attempted a factory reset to clear all non-original files for a work presentation. He recorded it exactly as I wrote it in a notebook: "Performed a factory reset enabling all non original files. Was working. After shutting off, will not restart. Sometimes when you push power button the HP logo will appear on screen and a circle of dots (with HP logo) will show but never further." The system runs Windows 10. I have some real technical support tasks to handle, even though I'm still in college IT courses. I’m pretty confident with Linux and Mac OS, but not much with Windows yet.
It keeps getting stuck. I've tried it several times. It won't shut off unless I either unplug it or press the power button.
Can you access the BIOS? If yes, verify that the boot drive is detected. Is the drive removable? You can test it using a USB adapter on another machine to confirm readability. Additionally, consider resetting the CMOS if necessary for this compact design.
