Consider upgrading first by getting an SSD if you're not looking for immediate results. Next, increase your RAM to 6 or 8GB, provided you can source 4GB DDR2 modules—there are still some available. You might also want a second HDD for additional storage; you'll need a HDD caddy to swap in the optical drive. Additionally, if your laptop supports it, you could upgrade to a Quad-core CPU, though this is still experimental. Essentially, these steps can help extend its usability. This device is quite outdated.

Beyond installing an SSD and possibly increasing the RAM to its highest supported level of 8GB, there’s little you can achieve. It’s unlikely the device will handle 4K video streaming smoothly.
