Your RX 6600 requires an 8-pin PCIe connector, and you already have a compatible cable connected to your Gigabyte A320M-2SH. You can safely disconnect the PCIe cable from your motherboard and connect it to the GPU without any issues.

There are two main types of 8-pin cables connected to your PSU: a 4+4 pin CPU power cable and a 6+2 pin PCIe power cable. If you disconnect either, your CPU won’t receive power and could damage your GPU if you connect it incorrectly. Your PSU likely includes PCIe cables—if it’s fully modular, just plug them in. Otherwise, they’re probably hidden in the back of the case. The setup should match the description you provided.

The brand is not specified, but the model likely lacks 6+2 PCIe support, which may limit its ability to supply the full system power.

The PSU only came with one 8-pin cable, not modular. It’s a budget 650W unit from Tecnoware. Using the 6+2 pin cable for the GPU should work, and the 4+4 cable in the top left can remain.

Do you have any questions about using a PCI-E splitter with your Tecnoware 650W? I checked and found some options available.

You should consider a multi-connector splitter that matches your PSU’s pin count.
