It seems Hyperthreading might not be active. Verify the BIOS settings to confirm it’s enabled, then check MSConfig for any changes. Launch msconfig.exe, navigate to the "Boot" tab, and inspect the processor count—adjust it if needed to 12.

When unsure about your setup, perform a complete BIOS reset (disconnect battery for 5 seconds or locate the factory reset option in BIOS) and start from scratch again.

processors are limited to setting at 6 and hyperthreading is enabled, not sure.

It's a system around 10-11 years old... looks like it might be breaking down... you can get higher-quality options at lower prices from used shops.

I resolved the issue, although resetting the BIOS to defaults caused the MSConfig to save boot settings as custom for an unclear reason. I changed it to a standard boot configuration.
