Here are the links to the fans I rely on:
6 Vardars for my radiator, other case fans available at https://www.newegg.com/cooler-master-r4-...0010-000K6 and https://www.newegg.com/p/37B-000B-00231
You need one of these options: a magnetic standoff connector or a 4-pin version for different RPMs. Keep three fans max per header if you connect them to the motherboard.
Noctua FTW is a top choice for fans due to its excellent fan performance and reliability.
I believe noctua excels in raw performance. Its price performance might be less impressive.
I don't agree with that perspective. Removing elements like RGB from the formula gives Noctua a clear edge across performance, optimization, and sound quality. At around £18 per fan (unless you opt for top-tier hybrid fans), you're getting significant benefits. Most budget PWM fans cost at least £10, so adding extra value for silence and better airflow makes sense. Their CPU coolers are also reasonably priced. The 'Noctua tax' isn't as strong as the 'Corsair tax,' and you're clearly investing in premium products. Once you have more than ten fans like me, the extra cost of £100+ is justified by the performance gains. If you're swapping 3-4 units in a case, the increase is about £30 for noticeable improvement. Gamers Nexus has tests to back this up. Whether it's worth it depends on your budget and needs. For serious builds, it's definitely worthwhile.
