Hello everyone! I'm thrilled to be here and have been following tech advice for a while. My friend wants to upgrade his PC and asked for my input, but I'm not very experienced with finding the best value in computer parts. Would it be helpful if you could advise whether the AMD Ryzen 2600X is worth the price? If not, what alternatives are good for this budget? Also, he's planning a new motherboard for his CPU, and he mentioned the ASRock A520M-HDV—do we have better options available?
Consider a motherboard with a B450 or B550 chipset for improved performance. The 2600X works, though compatibility with A520 isn't certain. For better value, go with the Ryzen 5 3600.
