You encountered a Windows crash with a blue screen that displayed "ATTEMPTED EXECUTE OF NOEXECUTE MEMORY." This usually points to a driver issue or a system conflict. To investigate further, you can check the event logs for details about the crash time and any related processes. Additionally, try restarting your computer and monitoring crashes in real-time using tools like Task Manager or Event Viewer. If the problem persists, consider updating drivers or running a system scan for malware.

To resolve the crashes linked to watchdog.sys, you should check your system's drivers. The file is typically a Windows driver related to the watchdog service. You can search for it in Device Manager or use tools like SFC and DISM to repair any corrupted files. If unsure, consult your hardware manufacturer for the correct driver.

Find the settings in Device Manager, look for the triangle icon, and adjust accordingly. If you're considering a Windows reinstall, proceed with caution.

The issue often stems from insufficient bus voltage, affecting RAM, IMC, or PLL. Overclocking depends on stabilizing these voltages first.

Use the tool WhoCrashed to examine the crash file (if available). It will identify the problematic application causing the issue.

Checking other sources indicates the issue often stems from graphics driver problems, which may explain the BCLK overclocking and possible PCIe concerns. It seems GPU-related; consider reinstalling drivers. If that doesn’t work, provide the precise error message or wording for further help.

it would be unusual if it depended on the GPU alone. There are also random black screens appearing now, likely due to insufficient VRAM or cooling issues. I own an EVGA GTX 970 SC with two fans (not blower style), which uses the same heatsink as the GTX 770—this doesn’t fit well. Only two of the three copper pipes reach the GPU die, leading to poor cooling. I can handle temperatures up to 80°C in summer at 80% fan speed. However, because the cooler isn’t properly matched to the VRMs, they might not sit the heatsink correctly, even though 80°C on the chip shouldn’t trigger crashes. On the other hand, some users with similar setups have used watercooling without VRM or heatsink solutions (like the NXT G10 with R9 290x) and didn’t face problems. So I’m wondering what’s actually causing the problem here. I consistently see a different crash error on a blue screen, only the watchdog message repeats more often.

Nothing about the device manager, just in case it's not an issue in English
