Don't troll man, or at least say you are joking, this is a tech site and its normal to find people that don't know things, therefore they ask. Nope, the key won't work. You need to find the same type of key. Also you can find cheap Win8.1 keys, so try buying one (reddit/microsoftsoftwareswap) and updating your OS. Win 8 does work better than 7, and get some start-is-back kind of program.

According to @ Vebb, you should set up Windows 10. It's quite reliable and performs better than Windows 7 in my opinion.
