Need assistance with Windows 10 partition issues? Let me know what you're experiencing.
Hello community, I recently purchased a new PC and installed some software and games. Afterward, the system crashed due to issues with the GPU drivers. I attempted to fix it but the situation worsened. Since I don’t have anything critical on the machine, I’m considering reinstalling Windows 10. However, I encountered some challenges along the way. My main question is: if I reinstall Windows 10, will everything be erased from all drives, preventing the old problems from returning? Additionally, I’m facing a driver partition issue during installation—there are many options and I’m unsure which one to select. Should I pick one and remove the others? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Remove every partition on the boot drive. Make a fresh one. Windows will generate additional ones for recovery purposes. Choose the biggest available space and press Next or OK to begin the setup.
No need to disconnect the HDD from the motherboard unless you're addressing specific issues; otherwise, it's safe to keep it connected.
