I'm having trouble installing Ubuntu 24.04.1. The bootable image is showing an error: [1.879099] 1dm_parse_tocblock(): Cannot find TOCBLOCK, database may be corrupt. This occurs during the disk setup phase, preventing further progress. I'm just starting out and would really appreciate any guidance.
The issue you face could stem from various factors. It's possible some errors appear frequently without being critical, and your system still boots the live image. Alternatively, the problem might lie with the Ubuntu installer not advancing properly. You should confirm how you prepared the live image and check your drive setup. Try entering recovery mode in Ubuntu as well. In the live environment, verify that all drives are connected. Run "lsblk" in a terminal to see if your drives are listed.
I used a tool to create the bootable USB. You could also attempt a fresh installation on that USB or switch to another USB device.
