Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my system, installed a new Windows 10 OS on an SSD, and tried to boot it up. Even without installing the motherboard drivers—which was unusual—I managed a few starts. I downloaded drivers from another machine, but when I went to my new PC to install them, it failed. The boot screen shows red lights on the motherboard, and the GPU lights are on while the fans spin. My CPU is an i7 13700KF, RAM is two 16GB sticks, and the motherboard uses an Asrock Z790 Pro RS. The SSD is Samsung Pro Evo. The GPU is ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1060, and it’s running at 6GBs. The PSU is probably not enough—remembering it now is tricky, but it seems I’m missing power. I plan to reinstall everything on my old setup tomorrow to confirm if the issue is with the GPU. If anyone has advice or tips, I’d really appreciate it. I also think I should have chosen a better PSU. I calculated the wattage and feel confident it should work, but please help me out. Thanks!

I've already attempted it with one RAM module but haven't verified the manual for the correct slot. It's still puzzling how it boots without any post. I'm planning to perform a CMOS reset and remember to leave the battery out for at least 15 minutes.

There's a jumper for the CMOS reset. But do it at pc off. You can unplug power cord also, if you want (for the reset)

Used a different GPU because the main issue was the VGA red LED, which displayed a red boot signal (though I'm not sure if that's what you meant). Attempted a jumper reset, but it didn't work. I'm getting worried and reached out to asrock support, wondering if the problem might be related to the motherboard. Unfortunately, I don't have another GPU to test it with.
