Hello, thank you for reaching out. I understand you're facing some challenges while trying to stream Warzone from OBS. It sounds like your setup is working well otherwise, but the performance drops when streaming. You mentioned adjusting quality and disabling effects, which is a good start—those can really impact FPS.

Regarding your storage question, having the game saved on an SSD with plenty of space (like your 380+GB) is a solid choice. Using an HDD might slow things down due to slower read speeds. Make sure your system is updated and consider checking for any background processes that could be using resources. If you need further help, feel free to ask!

I suspect recording might not be the main cause. Are you using NVENC? Have you considered switching to x264? Also, verify your hardware load—GPU should stay above 80% for normal performance. Did this issue occur consistently from the start of streaming this game, or is it a recent problem after a driver or Windows update?

You can switch to using x264 directly instead of the default encoder. Since your GPU is busy with Warzone, try running x264 in a separate process or use it in a lightweight container. Make sure you have the right dependencies installed and adjust your system settings to prioritize encoding tasks. If Windows updates help, consider restarting with updated drivers and a fresh install.

It might be a Windows 11 problem, though I’m not going to doubt it too much. You can pick the encoder in the Output tab of the settings. The name looks odd, but x264 is labeled as software and will utilize your CPU for encoding. NVENC is called hardware and will handle encoding via GPU. Could you share your OBS settings?
