Need assistance with the Mac Yosmite boot process?
I got a 16GB USB drive and installed it on my MacBook Pro using Affirend, OpenMaged, and Multibeast. I formatted it as Mac OS Extended without partitioning and used the Disk Utility erase tool to convert it. After installing, I placed the Multibeast folder on the USB. Once everything was set up, I changed my MacBook’s MBIOS settings to default and booted up. When it came up, it displayed the Apple logo briefly before switching to Windows. I repeated the process and restarted. My PC is an i5 4690K with a 7950MHz CPU, M.2 Z97 PCIe motherboard. It worked perfectly from the start.
From my point of view, you'll need to revise this entry. It's really confusing what's happening here.
Yes, they function by default. The OP hackintosh isn’t always reliable. Still, why did you reset your BIOS? Changing settings to install OSX usually requires keeping those changes.
Review the article at the provided link. Check if multibeast is already on the flash drive. Remove it and retry. Look into boot flags for Chimera bootloader issues. Only use multibeast after a successful install. Consider taking a photo of the setup for reference.
