Your motherboard supports up to 2GB of RAM, which should handle your current setup. To maximize internet speed, ensure your network adapter is using the highest available bandwidth mode and consider updating your router firmware for better performance. If you're experiencing slow speeds despite the hardware, check for interference or optimize your Wi-Fi settings.

You must either upgrade all your network equipment to 10Gb or switch to a second 1Gb NIC. Otherwise, you’ll hit a ceiling of 2 streams per download at 1Gb/s each, even if you manage to handle multiple links.

We’re obtaining the 2Gbps connection through a specific device or modem/router installed at your home or office. The ISP maintains this equipment, and it supports speeds exceeding 1Gbps. If the ISP’s modem or router can handle such rates, you’ll likely need to upgrade to a 10G LAN solution. This involves more than just the motherboard—your network cables must be at least CAT6, and all related components between the ISP device and your PC should also meet these requirements. Upgrading the motherboard can be done by purchasing and installing a 10G LAN card.

You can purchase 10 gigabytes or more of storage, but it will cost significantly more than the benefit you get from it.

Yes, you can use that product. It's a 2.5GBASE-T PCIe network adapter designed for high-speed connectivity.

Ensure all components from your ISP's router to your device meet the requirements for speeds exceeding 1Gbps. Otherwise, the connection will only function at 1Gbps.

It needs to ensure 2.5Gb speeds when connecting the cable to the port on your PC

Your internet speed is 2GB, and your network card supports up to 2.5GB—this should be sufficient.

The router needs to handle those high speeds across every internal port. 2.5Gb and 5Gb are quite recent and probably not available on your current gear. You must either have all ports that support up to 10Gbps or all ports that support 1Gbps.
