I'm experiencing issues with my internet connection despite having the new Xfinity modem/router. I've set it in bridge mode to work with a Linksys WRT1200AC router, but the solid white light on my router now shows as orange. On my router, everything appears normal, yet when I try streaming, Discord, or running speed tests, it fails to connect. I'm using Ethernet, but switching to Wi-Fi doesn't resolve the problem.

You shouldn't need to interact much with the Xfinity box; just revert it to its default configuration. Bridge mode might restrict certain connections. Also, think about resetting your WRT1200AC and starting fresh to remove any lingering issues from the old modem router connected to it.

It seems the problem lies with your Linksys router. I’ll perform a factory reset and reset everything fresh. Also check upgrading the firmware to ensure you have the newest software. Here’s the deal: Xfinity won’t assist with customer-owned devices. I own my own modem and router, so they’ll point any issues at my setup.
