You're trying to set up a Minecraft server and need to forward ports so players can join. It sounds like your network setup is a bit outdated. Your current configuration involves multiple routers and modems, but you're having trouble getting the signal from the first router to the second. You've tried port forwarding and DMIZ but haven't succeeded. If you need help, let me know what you're doing and I can guide you through it. Also, consider setting up a parallel connection if that would help.
I attempted to include additional details, but due to a weak internet connection on the second floor of our home, it affected the process.
This approach hasn't occurred to me before. I hadn't thought about using WAPs above instead of another router. Modern routers can convert one into a switch, but it might be better to place WAPs higher up.
Share your IP address from router 2 to router 1. Verify your static IP in router 1 and then forward the port accordingly.
We tried but chose not to proceed for a specific reason. I don't usually make those decisions here.

Uncertain about the precise modem type, but it's an older Inteno device. For the two routers—one Asus AX58U and the other Asus AC66U—what you need is compatible setup.
