I acquired a 3070 from a man who was fully functional and demonstrated it on his computer. After bringing it home and connecting it to my PC, the display went black and the RGB lights flashed red. The VGA indicator also lit up, and MOBO was active. I replaced the CMOS battery for five minutes, reinserted it, updated the BIOS, tried a different PCIe slot, but nothing worked. The system I used it with before was fully operational with a 5700X, but failed afterward. When I received the 3070, I upgraded its power supply to a better one from another machine. There are two cables: one for the 3-8 pins and another for the remaining 2-8 pins. All connections seem secure. Specifications include a Ryzen 9 3900X, Gigabyte Aorus B550 Pro AC RAM, 2x16GB GSKILL Ripjaws, storage options—Samsung 970 EVO 1TB and WD Blue 500GB. The GPU is a colorful IGMAGE RTX 3070 Vulcan OC. PSU: Old working model (Gigabyte B700H) vs new EVGA Supernova 750 G2. I really need assistance figuring out what’s going wrong.
