Need assistance with the CPU cooler RGB? Let me know how I can help!
My CPU cooler's RGB on my Thermaltake UX100 has shown odd behavior before. I haven't attempted fixes until recently. This machine was built by Newegg (link provided) and bought in 2021, so I'm likely outside warranty coverage. It wasn't connected to the case controller or motherboard until recently, when I attached it to a motherboard RGB header. Then it started acting strangely. First video shows the default rainbow effect when no connection is present, but with one LED moving erratically. Second video displays flashing after the PC powers down and restarts, revealing the normal rainbow cycle. Third video uses OpenRGB to switch solid colors; some work better than others, but certain colors alternate when a fixed color is set. Fourth video features OpenRGB controlling individual LEDs; I found two problematic LEDs that trigger various issues based on their combination. Turning both off seems to resolve the problem, though the fan then flashes every few seconds. I'm seeking advice to get it to function with software like OpenRGB. I've updated the BIOS but didn't alter the issue. Here are my specs: CPU i5-10400f, motherboard ASUS Prime B560M-A, RAM 2x8 OLOy DDR4 3000 (D4U0830160B), GPU MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, SSD Team Group T-FORCE CARDEA ZERO-Z330, 1TB drive, PSU GIGABYTE P650B, cooler Thermaltake UX100, case DeepCool Matrexx 50, ADD-RGB 4F.
