Hey there! For a fun test stream, you can try using free tools like OBS Studio or Streamlabs. Set your resolution to 1080p and bitrate around 5-6 Mbps for smooth playback. Your hardware should handle it—your i5 and graphics card are solid for light games. Just tweak the settings a bit to balance quality and performance. No need to buy anything special! Good luck and have fun!

OBS + NVENC ensures smooth streaming because it uses your 1070 model.

You're able to stream, but NVENC performs poorly when used solely for recording. Consider searching for OBS guides instead.

I'm not claiming it's bad, but there are superior options for streaming. x264 encoding offers higher quality but demands more processing power (it appears better). For NVENC, you should aim for a high bitrate—around 6000 to 10,000—to achieve good visuals, though not everyone has a 100 Mbps connection.

The i5 4460 lacks the power for high-quality streaming. It struggles with h264 encoding and doesn’t handle the required bitrates on platforms like Twitch or YouTube. The available quality is sufficient, but compression issues and limited performance make it impractical for those use cases. No alternative is necessary.
