pc cpu ryzen 5600g paired with amd box cooler, asrock b550 phantom gaming 4, ram 8gb oloy 3200mhz c16 (x4 32gb), wd black sn750 (250gb), windows 10 (64 bit), asus 1650 gpu, corsair vs500 power supply. the system previously booted via igpu but sat idle for months. when attempting boot, a black screen appeared. fans spun, motherboard led lights flashed red and stayed on, cpu and dram remained active. i tried using the gpu from another machine, reset ram and cpu, changed ram sticks, swapped cpus (ryzen 5800x3d), used psu from second pc, plugged in gpu from gtx 1650, reconnected cables multiple times. booted with just cpu and ram, reset cmos battery several times. all modified components functioned correctly in another system. my concern is the motherboard—though i checked it removed and found no damage. any advice or steps to try would be helpful.
