Hello! I hope you're doing well. Could you let me know if anyone can assist me? I'm planning to upgrade my PC by adding an SSD. I already have an HDD, and I'm curious about transferring the Windows OS and a large game like GTA to the SSD without having to reinstall everything. The HDD is larger than the SSD, so I'm unsure how to clone it. After I get the files onto the SSD, I want to use it for big games, important data, and other stuff on the HDD. Also, the SSD is an M.2 drive. Thanks in advance!

Set up a brand new Windows installation on your SSD, start from scratch, and transfer your games and other files from your old HDD to the SSD.

I wouldn't save game files since they can quickly become damaged, but it's manageable. You need to reinstall Windows as mentioned earlier, though you can technically paste the game file once you locate it from the hard drive to the SSD. NOTE: copying a huge file might be slower than re-downloading it if your connection is poor.

This choice looks more suitable given your connection issues. Appreciate it!
