Hey everyone. I own a Dell OptiPlex (I5-3570, 8GB DDR3) with an upgraded power supply and an X570 GPU. I’m experiencing stutters in games, but I’m not sure what’s causing it. The temperatures are normal for my CPU, and I think the GPU in GTA sometimes stutters too. My CPU usage is around 99% and GPU around 80%, so it doesn’t seem like a hardware bottleneck. I’ve tried using SSDs, checked Task Manager settings, adjusted power usage to prioritize performance, and set high priority for games. Still no clear solution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The processor is at full capacity, which means it's causing a slowdown

Which titles are you enjoying? What RAM setup do you have? Are you using both channels or just one?

I'm experiencing issues similar to those in Paladins RN, but GTA V and Fortnite are much more affected. It seems the problem arises when roads or buildings aren't fully loaded. This pattern occurs in many games—playing easier usually reduces stuttering. My system has a quad GPU, which should help.

The current visual configurations are being displayed. You might want to tweak them for better performance on the GPU.

I haven't tried anything yet, so I can't provide an FPS. Would you like to know more about performance?

I attempted everything and I'm mostly certain GTA 60fps Fortnite reaches over 140 FPS.

A more powerful processor would help. The main issue is that your current setup isn’t strong enough for the games you’re playing; both are demanding a lot on the CPU. The only idea that comes to mind is lowering the graphics settings in GTA, as they’re particularly CPU-heavy.
