I need to set up a port forward on your Netgear router and ISP modem so you can reach the Rust server from Geforce Now. Since you're new to this, I recommend seeking guidance to ensure it's done correctly and securely. Let me know if you'd like step-by-step assistance.

If you know the ISP modem functions as a router, you must turn off the router feature. This process is known as Bridged Mode. You should also think about your ISP connection kind because certain options like LTE don’t support Port Forwarding.

I've set up port forwarding on TP-Links and Linksys devices; no Netgear experience. The noip website offers useful guidance: https://www.noip.com/support/knowledgeba...-firmware/. For security, consider changing the external port from the one your app normally uses. If GeForce Now typically runs on a certain port but can be redirected elsewhere, select another random port and map it to a different internal port on your host machine.

This relies on the specific device being used. Netgear's built-in LTE modem allows port forwarding when configured as a router.

The worry is that even if the router allows it, the ISP might not. For LTE links this usually happens when users connect via a NAT64-CGN setup. In such scenarios, port forwarding isn't available despite being turned on in the router.
