If someone handles the selection for you and you enjoy that configuration, go for it. I usually craft my own systems using all the reviews I've come across with each new generation of parts. I also stick to certain trusted brands, either because they've worked well or not so much. When I assembled my latest gaming PC, I initially planned for an Intel CPU and an EVGA GPU, but ended up choosing a Ryzen CPU and an MSI GPU. LOL. The decision often depends on the appearance of the components, such as the RAM and GPU. My first build featured a white GPU in a completely black setup simply because that was the only one available at the time. I really disliked it for being white. I've been using a 360mm water cooler since my first build in 2016. It's performed well so far and has maintained a stable 7700K even after removing the case and running it at 5.0Ghz. The debate between air and water coolers is another thing altogether—some people adore it, others despise it. Personally, I don't prefer the look of an air cooler. Water coolers tend to look cleaner.
