I switched from AMD to Intel while keeping the Gigabyte budget motherboard. I used a B550 UD AC and upgraded to a Z790 UD AC. Now only the Corsair AIO and RAM have RGB lighting. The power connectors on the board don’t match those on the case fans. The fans are running but the RGB isn’t working as expected—I should have photographed it before taking apart, but I didn’t. I assumed I restored everything correctly, but it’s clear I didn’t. The Gigabyte guide doesn’t explain what’s on the back of the board. Skip the wiring details; it’s incomplete.
